Moments That Matter

Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry

Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry

Jeff Hale, Business Solutions Consultant, has been an active member at Chapelstreet Church in Geneva, IL since June of 2017.  Jeff shares, "There is a great ministry there called the Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry that stocks and distributes non perishable food to needy people in the community.  Every time I land a commission check or a big payday of some nature I make it a habit to take one of these blue bags that I keep in my car and hit Jewel/Meijer and fill it up.  It’s a really satisfying way to give and I have a lot of fun doing it.  I take my time wandering the aisles and grab things that I enjoy eating, (Hormel chili, Chunky Soups, Velveeta Mac and Cheese) no store brands in that bag!"

Local Food Pantry

Local Food Pantry

Postal Source employees had the opportunity to forego their staff Christmas gifts and instead contribute that money to a local food pantry.  Together, we were able to give the DeWitt Referral Center almost $500 worth of food donations.

The Dewitt Referral Center is on its 47th year of aiding families in need of help by offering freely given contributions of food and clothing from the community.  Postal Source is proud and humbled to have had the opportunity to assist in feeding 40 families this month.

Postal Source encourages everyone to keep your local food pantries in the forefront of your minds.  Food pantry shelves tend to run low this time of year, right after the holidays. Thanks again, Postal Source Team, for contributing to a great cause!
